If you are part of an Alliance and have been placed in Spectator Mode, it could because of the following reasons:
  • You left the Alliance during or before the matchmaking. If you leave your Alliance during the matchmaking phase and come back later, you will be placed in Spectator Mode for that War
  • Your defense team is empty: You emptied your defense team by sacrificing the Heroes on your defense team
  • You are below the required level to participate in Wars (level 12 is the minimum requirement)
  • If you have not completed the War Tutorial before the preparation phase ended
  • If you joined an Alliance after the preparation phase started
  • If you have fewer than 5 Heroes in your War defense team
  • If you have been inactive for the two previous wars before the preparation phase started
  • If you have unchecked the "Participate in Wars" option in the War tab.
  • If you left your Alliance during the preparation phase and did not re-join the Alliance by the specified time (note: You will receive a pop-up message notifying you the time in which you need to rejoin the Alliance)
  • If you have not completed the Alliance Wars tutorial
  • You have opted out using the Opt Out button (please note - if you do not see an Opt Out button, it is because you have not done your Alliance War tutorial)
