There are four roles in each Alliance:

Each Alliance can have only one Leader. If you create your own Alliance, you’ll be automatically the Leader of this Alliance. However, a leader can promote a co-leader as an Alliance Leader. In this case, the previous Leader will be demoted as a Co-Leader.

Co-Leaders and Elders can affect the Alliance similarly to the Leader; They can Accept or Kick new members and promote or demote players. However, only the Leader and Co-Leaders are able to edit the Alliance description.

Please note, that the Co-Leaders or Elders cannot promote another player as the Leader or demote the current Leader. In the case where your Alliance Leader has become inactive for a long time, the best plan is to consider creating a new alliance and invite the active players to join it.
