Dragonspire will have its own Adventure (PvE) and Raid(PvP) modes, which will use Dragon Energy and Dragon Raid Energy. These battles will provide chances for more loot and materials. 

Dragon Raids can be accessed through the Dragonspire Watchtower, and the Story can be accessed from the Map. 

The Adventure (PvE) battles in Dragonspire start with 2 special fixed Booster spaces on the matchboard. Making a match on one of the Tile Booster spaces will send a group of Fireballs into the opponent. 

In Dragon battles, the Heroes from your Stronghold act as Dragon Riders (similar to how Troops function in Hero battles). The Hero assigned to a given Dragon must be of the same Rarity as their Dragon. A Dragon Rider boosts the stats of their Dragon in battle.  In Dragon Adventure battles (Story mode), players can also craft and use special battle items. The Dragon Raids work very similarly to the Adventure battles but don’t allow players to take in items.
