We know that the past few weeks have not been smooth sailing for Empires & Puzzles players, and we're sorry. Thank you so much for bearing with us through the recent storm of continued technical issues:
Wrong difficulty setting for Brave Musketeers
Unusable Aethers being awarded as loot
Featured Heroes lists not matching between versions in Atlantis Summon
Wrong set of Heroes being featured in Ninja Summon
Wrong version of Costume Frigg being released
One wrong featured Hero in Valhalla Summon
While we did manage to deploy quick fixes for each of the above, we fully agree with the community that these kinds of issues should not be popping up so frequently in the first place. We understand how frustrating the experience might have been for players directly affected by one (or even several) of these, and we'd like to once again apologize for the inconvenience.
We have spent some time conducting internal reviews of our development and release processes, and have drawn up a number of concrete action points, all of which should help prevent similar technical errors from occuring again going forwards. We've already gone and immediately added some new steps to our release preparation procedures, and in the near future, we'll also be strengthening and expanding the studio's testing and quality assurance capabilities.
Of course, live-service games being what they are, we cannot promise in all honesty that these kinds of issues will never happen again; room for human error will always exist. Some things will still probably slip through from time to time, no matter how many measures we put in place. Regardless, we know that "yeah, it happens" can never be an excuse for not stepping up and doing better. Please rest assured that we will do our absolute best to improve.
Once again, thank you for your continued interest in and support for Empires & Puzzles, through both good times and bad times. As we've said before: while we do not always have the bandwidth to respond in detail to all the feedback we receive, we truly do read everything and try to address valid concerns as much and as quickly as we can.
